MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — West Virginia University officials and police are responding to a bomb threat on the Morgantown Campus.
The threat was reported at the Mineral Resources Building, according to a social media post from WVU Safety and Wellness around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Residents are advised to avoid the Mineral Resources and Engineering Sciences Buildings in the Evansdale area of campus, according to the post.
PRT service at the Engineering Station has been stopped and will be bypassing the Engineering Sciences Station.
University Police Department officers are conducting a sweep of the building, and people should avoid the area while that takes place, according to the post.
