GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WV News) — The Lutheran Social Service Food Pantries will be distributing Thanksgiving meal bags to 140 families.
Food pantry clients, who may otherwise not have a Thanksgiving meal, will receive a turkey and a bag. The bags will include green beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy as well as fresh produce to be prepared at home.
The event will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene at 1110 First Avenue in Gallipolis from 11 a.m to noon 12 p.m. Tuesday.
These distributions occur with the help of many sponsors, including presenting sponsors Bread Financial, Kroger, Del-Co Water Company, ODW Logistics/Ness Family Foundation and NiSource Charitable Foundation/Columbia Gas of Ohio.
