POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WV News) — The Mason County WIC Clinic will be open every Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in November, except for Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, in observance of Thanksgiving.
The clinic had also closed for Veterans Day. The clinic is located at 701 Second St. in Point Pleasant.
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program is a supplemental food program for pregnant, post-partum, or breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to the age of 5.
WIC provides food, breastfeeding support and nutrition education to families in Mason County. To apply for the WIC Program or to receive more information call their local office at 304-675-5279 or our main office in Parkersburg at 304-428-3688.
