RAVENSWOOD, W. Va. (WV News) — Ravenswood High School’s outstanding volleyball season didn’t go unnoticed as coaches took to the ballot box for voting on the All-Little Kanawha Conference team for 2023.
Junior Macy Casto was chosen First Team for a third straight year.
She was joined on the First Team by Abby Scritchfield, who wrapped up an incredible senior season and career.
It was Scritchfield’s first time on the LKC’s dream unit.
It was just the second time in school history that Ravenswood landed two players on the LKC’s First Team for volleyball. The others were Skyler Mace and Katie Mellinger.
Special Honorable Mention went to Annie Starcher and Anna Casto, a pair of sophomores.
Ravenswood finished 31-16 for a fourth place finish in the LKC this season.
It was the highest finish in LKC play since being the runner-up in 2010.
