It’s official. Trumpism is now defined as a cult. The cult leader, being Trump, is usually a narcissist. Trump has proved this. He wants total control and everyone else to do his bidding. He spreads unreasonable fears about the “outside world” that often involve evil conspiracies and persecutions.
Most “members” who follow him subscribe to his rhetoric about science, medical, media, etc. A leader like Trump believes he is not accountable to anyone or the law. A cult member is one who has been psychologically manipulated by a powerful leader who isolates “members” from the rest of society. “Members’” loyalties can divide family and friends. If this sounds like you, you could care less about what I just wrote.
There are some people who are not “members,” but are rich and use Trump’s influence to make themselves richer. Everybody knows, including Trumpies, that the big tax break Trump got passed benefited the rich a lot, not you so much, but you don’t care. We’ve all heard that Democrats want to do away with some of the tax breaks the rich got, those who earn over $400,000, to help fund Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
By the way, Trump was not the first extreme right-wing anti-social radical bigot. Archie Bunker was. When you watched that show many years ago, you may have been shocked and thought it was funny. When you watch the reruns today, you’re shocked, but it’s not funny. Only the Trumpies think it’s funny.
Bulletin: Today is Tuesday, and Trump said they are coming to arrest him today, that his followers must protest, protest, protest!
It’s Wednesday. No decision yet. I figure the protesters are getting antsy. I just heard nothing is going to be decided this week.
Let’s not forget West Virginia politics. Justice has a problem. He took COVID money that the federal government gave West Virginia to be designated for COVID relief. $28 million that West Virginia got, Justice put into his personal gift and donor fund. This money was supposed to go to the corrections department. Now they want to call a special session to find the money for the corrections department. Yet Justice took money from his “gift-donor” fund and gave $10 million to Marshall University and $100,000 for a bus at some Bible college. Will Justice be held accountable? He’s a politician. He’s the governor. What do you think?
There’s more. West Virginia’s surplus is about $1 billion. Remember, these are tax dollars. Tax dollars are supposed to be used for the benefit of all West Virginians. I didn’t know West Virginia was supposed to be a “profit-making state.” We already have a rainy day fund. Surplus money seems now to be a political tool for re-election. It seems that taxpayers are forgetting that politicians are supposed to work for them. Something doesn’t seem fair.
I hear the grand jury is going to take a spring break. I hope it’s for a positive — to give Trump his just due.
Just heard his just due. He has been indicted. What’s next? Surrender, arrest, mugshot, riots, destruction, death? They said it may happen!
