Joe Burrow shook his head, screamed and jogged to the locker room because the pain in his right wrist wouldn’t allow him to throw a football on the sideline. Another week in the NFL. Another injured quarterback. Burrow is no ordinary QB, however. He’s the franchise for Cincinnati. With him, the Bengals were Super Bowl contenders. They’ve won consecutive division titles and an AFC crown. Without him, they have no chance. Aaron Rodgers. Kirk Cousins. Anthony Richardson. Daniel Jones. Deshaun Watson. Now Burrow. Burrow exited Thursday night’s game in the second quarter, a devastating blow for the Bengals who went from leading the Baltimore Ravens 10-7 with their star player to losing 34-20.

Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes in the second quarter and the Baltimore Ravens beat Cincinnati 34-20 after the Bengals lost star quarterback Joe Burrow to a wrist injury. The AFC North-leading Ravens completed a head-to-head sweep of Cincinnati and moved to 2 1/2 games ahead of the last-place Bengals. And that’s far from Cincinnati’s only problem. Burrow left in the second quarter after throwing a touchdown pass and wasn’t able to return. Jackson threw for 264 yards despite losing tight end Mark Andrews to an ankle injury on the game's first drive.

Logan Cooley and Lawson Crouse scored 28 seconds apart in the third period as the Arizona Coyotes rallied to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2. The victory was the second road win in three games for the Coyotes, who extended the Blue Jackets' losing streak to seven games. Barrett Hayton also scored for Arizona, and Connor Ingram stopped 39 shots to remain undefeated against Columbus in three games. Damon Severson scored twice and Elvis Merzlikins stopped 29 for the Blue Jackets, who have lost three in a row at home and fell for the sixth straight game after holding a lead.

Cotie McMahon scored 24 point and No. 13 Ohio State used a quick start to roll to an 88-66 win over Boston College. Taylor Thierry added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Buckeyes and Jacy Sheldon had 16 points. The Buckeyes made 13 of 17 shots in the first quarter for a 32-11 lead and finished the half up 55-26 after shooting 71% (22 of 31). McMahon had 11 in the first quarter and 18 at the half with Thierry adding 14 and Sheldon 11. Emma Shumate hit a 3-pointer to close the third quarter to push the lead to 75-38. T’yana Todd scored 16 points for the Eagles

Kel’el Ware scored a career-high 22 points and matched a career best with 12 rebounds as Indiana cruised to an 89-80 victory over Wright State. Ware was 9-of-11 shooting to score 20-plus for the second straight game for Indiana, which shot 54% (33 of 61) overall. Malik Reneau added 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Hoosiers. Trey Galloway scored 15 points and Mackenzie Mgbako had 13. Andrew Welage scored 25 points and Tanner Holden added 24 for Wright State (0-3).

Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has left in the first quarter of Baltimore’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury. Andrews remained down on the field after catching a 9-yard pass to the Cincinnati 4-yard line on the game’s first drive. He was able to walk off the field but very slowly, and he appeared to be putting more pressure on his left leg than his right. Andrews went into the sideline tent and emerged moments later. He was still limping. Andrews entered the game tied for fifth in the NFL with six touchdown catches.

The Steelers and Browns look remarkably similar going into their matchup this week. Both are 6-3, have questions at quarterback and are chasing first-place Baltimore in the AFC North. There is one difference, however. Cleveland's defense has been superior. The Browns have leaned on their top-ranked defense while dealing with numerous obstacles, and that will only increase after losing quarterback Deshaun Watson for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson is taking over for Watson and hopes his experience in a rough NFL debut has prepared him.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey is inactive for a key AFC North matchup against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Humphrey missed practice all week with a calf injury. Cincinnati defensive end Trey Hendrickson is active despite recent knee problems. Other inactives for Baltimore include tackle Ronnie Stanley, linebacker Trenton Simpson, guard Sala Aumavae-Laulu, defensive end Broderick Washington and quarterback Josh Johnson. Cincinnati is without wide receiver Tee Higgins, defensive end Sam Hubbard, linebacker Devin Harper, center Trey Hill, tackle Jackson Carman and wide receiver Andrei Iosivas.

Nate Santos scored 19 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 4.1 seconds left, and Dayton rallied from a 15-point deficit to beat LSU 70-67 in the Charleston Classic. Dayton trailed 60-45 with 9:07 left. But the Flyers turned up the defensive pressure during a 19-2 run. Dayton guard Koby Brea made a 3-pointer with 48.2 seconds left to tie it at 67-all. Trae Hannibal dribbled into a triple team at the other end and was called for traveling. Javon Bennett got to the edge of the paint and passed it out to an open Santos for the winner. Carlos Stewart did not hit the rim on a 3-point attempt at the buzzer. Dayton plays St. John’s in the semifinals on Friday. LSU faces North Texas in the consolation bracket.

Browns rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is thankful for a second chance. His first NFL start was dreadful. The fifth-round draft pick gets another opportunity on Sunday when he faces the Pittsburgh Steelers. Thompson-Robinson is Cleveland's new starter after Deshaun Watson was lost for the season with a shoulder fracture. Thompson-Robinson was rushed into a start six weeks ago and threw three interceptions in a 28-3 loss to Baltimore. He'll be more prepared this time, and Thompson-Robinson is confident he can keep the Browns on track to make the playoffs.

No. 3 Ohio State is itching for a rematch with No. 2 Michigan, which has embarrassed the Buckeyes for the past two years. First they have to get by Minnesota this Saturday in the last game of the season at the Horseshoe. The Buckeyes will have to be on guard against overlooking beat-up Minnesota, a four-touchdown underdog limping toward its worst season since 2018. The Golden Gophers need a win over the Buckeyes or Wisconsin in the final week to get to bowl eligibility for a third consecutive season under P.J. Fleck.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh will accept a three-game suspension from the Big Ten and conference will end its investigation into a sign-stealing scheme as part of an agreement to resolve the school’s lawsuit against the league. Harbaugh was suspended last Friday by the Big Ten and Michigan hours later asked a court for an injunction and temporary restraining order. The restraining order was not ruled upon and Harbaugh did not coach the team against Penn State on Saturday. The two sides were expected in court Friday in Michigan, but instead Harbaugh will miss games against Maryland on Saturday and Ohio State on Nov. 25.

Longtime rivals, the Steelers and Browns meet again with more than just the usual bad blood as a backdrop. Both are 6-3, nipping at first-place Baltimore's heels in the AFC North and going for playoff spots. Pittsburgh won the first matchup back in September. Cleveland will be playing its first game since losing starting quarterback Deshaun Watson for the season with a shoulder fracture. Watson will replaced by rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who will be making his second career start. Robinson made an emergency start on Oct. 1 and threw three interceptions in a 28-3 loss to Baltimore.

Ohio State needs to take care of business against a lesser opponent one more time before the Nov. 25 showdown with Michigan that will have huge stakes in the Big Ten and nationally. Minnesota is having a disappointing campaign under seventh-season coach P.J. Fleck. The Golden Gophers will have to beat Ohio State or Wisconsin in the final week to become bowl eligible for a third straight season. The way the Buckeyes are playing now, stumbling against the injury-ravaged Golden Gophers at Ohio Stadium seems unlikely.

The former Big East rivals meet for the first time since 2011. West Virginia joined the Big 12 in 2012 and Cincinnati spent 10 years in the American Athletic Conference starting in 2013. Another win would give West Virginia the most in a season under fifth-year coach Neal Brown.  Cincinnati broke a seven-game losing streak last week in earning its first Big 12 win and has two games left to avoid a last-place finish.

Seventh-ranked Texas is the Big 12’s last remaining hope to make the four-team College Football Playoff. The 9-1 Longhorns are still also trying to clinch a spot in the conference championship game. They play at Iowa State on Saturday in a matchup of two of the league's top defenses. Also in the Big 12 this week, 23rd-ranked Kansas State plays at Kansas in a Sunflower Showdown matching 7-3 teams. This will be the 113th consecutive year the rivals have met, the fourth-longest uninterrupted FBS series.

Second-ranked Michigan visits Maryland Saturday in the week's top game in the Big Ten. The Wolverines powered through their off-field problems last week to take care of business against Penn State. Maryland built some confidence with a road win against Nebraska that clinched bowl eligibility. A judge will decide whether suspended Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh will be on the sideline. Nebraska travels to Wisconsin for a final meeting as West Division rivals. Rutgers will try to pull an upset as a big underdog at Penn State. Illinois coach Bret Bielema's decision to start Luke Altmyer at quarterback surprised some fans.

Donovan Mitchell had 34 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers handed the Portland Trail Blazers their fifth straight loss with a 109-95 victory on Wednesday night. Evan Mobley added 21 points and 12 rebounds, and the Cavaliers finished 2-2 on their western road trip. Jerami Grant led shorthanded Portland with 17 points and Duop Reath, a center on a two-way contract, came of the bench to score 16 points.

Kurtis Rourke threw for 222 yards, Sieh Bangura added 126 yards on the ground, and Ohio defeated Central Michigan 34-20. O’Shaan Allison’s 1-yard run with 4 minutes to go in the third quarter gave the Bobcats a 31-14 lead and they held on to win. Central Michigan's Jase Bauer had touchdown passes of 50 and 62 yards, but he threw for only 45 yards the rest of the game. He was 10-of-21 passing for 157 yards, with the two scores and one interception. Rourke was 14-of-23 passing without a touchdown or interception.

Rashad Amos ran for a pair of touchdowns and Miami (Ohio) defeated Buffalo 23-10 on Wednesday night to clinch a berth in the Mid-American Conference championship game. The RedHawks will play in the title game for the first time since 2019. Miami plays at Ball State on Nov. 25 in a regular-season finale before taking on West Division winner Toledo at Detroit’s Ford Field on Dec. 2. Receiver Javon Tracy had multiple big plays during Miami scoring drives. He finished with five receptions from Aveon Smith for 123 yards. Graham Nicholson kicked three field goals.

Roddy Gayle Jr. scored 20 points, Zed Key added a double-double off the bench and Ohio State used a big second-half run to break away from Merrimack in a 76-52 victory for the Buckeyes. A 3-pointer from Bryan Etumnu and a pair of free throws by Samba Diallo had Merrimack within six points with about 9 1/2 minutes to go. Ohio State responded with a 16-0 run in which Jamison Battle hit two 3-pointers and scored eight points, giving the Buckeyes a 65-43 lead with 5 1/2 minutes remaining. The Buckeyes extended the run to 24-3 and led 73-46 with 2:13 to go.

Giving Deshaun Watson a fully guaranteed $230 million contract has turned into another disaster for the Cleveland Browns. It’s the biggest one yet for a franchise known for its failures. Watson will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury that requires surgery, a devastating blow for a 6-3 team with a stingy defense and playoff hopes. The ramifications of the injury extend far beyond this season, too. Watson is owed $46 million each of the next three years with a cap hit of almost $64 million per season.

The rugged AFC North is the only division with four winning teams and they’re playing each other in Week 11. It starts with Bengals-Ravens on Thursday night. Both teams are frustrated following tough losses. The Ravens need a win to stay in first place. The Bengals can’t afford another loss to remain in contention for the division crown with the Steelers and Browns both at 6-3. They had the same record through nine games in each of the past two seasons and ended up winning the North. Lamar Jackson had an excellent game against the Bengals in Week 2 when he led the Ravens to a 27-24 road win.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hopeful tight end Pat Freiermuth can return in time for a showdown with Cleveland. Freiermuth hasn't played since injuring his right hamstring in a loss to Houston on Oct. 1. He was on track to return in late October before aggravating the injury before a visit to the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 22. Freiermuth says he's been pleased by the team's progress in his absence, but is eager to help out an offense that ranks 29th in the league in passing.

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens lead the AFC North through Week 10 for the fourth time in five seasons. They haven't won the division since 2019. The past two seasons, they’ve been passed down the stretch by Cincinnati. A win this week would make that prospect a good deal less likely in 2023. The Ravens host the Bengals on Thursday night with a chance to sweep the season series against Cincinnati and take a 2 1/2-game lead over the last-place Bengals.

The Baltimore Ravens are an NFL-best 19-3 at home in prime time since 2008. They'll try to improve on that when they host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. The Ravens lead the AFC North through Week 10 for the fourth time in five seasons. They haven't won the division since 2019. Cincinnati is 5-4 after nine games for the third straight season. The Bengals won the division and went to the AFC title game in each of the past two.

Trey Townsend scored 20 points to lead Oakland to an 81-62 victory over Bowling Green. Townsend made 8 of 16 shots for the Golden Grizzlies (1-2), adding four assists and three steals. Jack Gohlke totaled 14 points and seven rebounds. DQ Cole came off the bench to score 12 on 4-for-4 shooting from 3-point range. Jason Spurgin finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Falcons (2-1).

Jacquez Stuart took a short pass from Dequan Finn and turned it into a 59-yard score with 1:45 remaining to lift Toledo to its 10th straight victory, 32-31 over Bowling Green. Trailing 28-10 at the half, the Rockets outscored Bowling Green 22-3 in the second half to beat its I-75 rival for the 12th time in the last 14 meetings. Finn and Junior Vandeross III combined on a 22-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Toledo got within 28-25 early in the fourth after Peny Boone’s 1-yard score followed by a two-point conversion pass.

Samson Evans accounted for three touchdowns to help Eastern Michigan beat Akron 30-27 in double-overtime. Evans opened the first overtime running up the middle for an 11-yard touchdown.  Akron answered with Tahj Bullock’s 2-yard touchdown toss to Jake Newell followed by an Owen Wiley 36-yard field goal to begin the second OT. Austin Smith then sealed it for the Eagles with a 3-yard touchdown pass to Jere Getzinger. Evans finished with 71 yards rushing with a pair of 2-yard scoring runs in the second quarter for Eastern Michigan (5-6, 3-4 Mid-American Conference). Lorenzo Lingard and Bullock each had a TD run for Akron (2-9, 1-6).

Georgia has moved up to No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings, nudging past Ohio State, with third-place Michigan and fourth-place Florida State holding their spots in the top four. Georgia had maybe its most impressive performance of the season Saturday, beating Mississippi 52-17. It was the second straight week the Bulldogs defeated a ranked opponent, after downing Missouri the game before. Washington was fifth again, followed by Oregon, Texas and Alabama. Missouri at nine and Louisville were new to the top 10 this week.

Sidney Crosby recorded his 16th career hat trick, scoring twice in the third period, rallying the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-3 for their league-leading fifth straight win. Crosby extended his point streak to nine games with the 558th, 559th and 560th goals of his career, also adding an assist.  Jake Guentzel and Erik Karlsson each contributed a goal and an assist, and Tristan Jarry stopped 28 shots in his fourth consecutive win. Kirill Marchenko, Yegor Chinakhov and Alexandre Texier scored, and Elvis Merzlikins stopped 38 for Columbus, which has lost six straight and two in a row at home.

The Cleveland Guardians made a surprise roster move with starter Cal Quantrill, designating the right-hander for assignment. Quantrill had a rough 2023 season, going 4-7 with a 5.24 ERA and making two trips to the injured list with shoulder issues. He finished nicely, going 2-1 with a 2.76 ERA in his last six starts. The 28-year-old Quantrill was a big part of the Guardians winning the AL Central in 2022 when he went 15-5 and made 32 starts. Cleveland has seven days to trade or release Quantrill — or hope he can get through waivers. He’s eligible for arbitration and is under team contractual control until 2026. Quantrill was projected to make about $6.6 million in arbitration next season.

Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb had surgery Wednesday to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, a season-ending injury he sustained in Week 2 at Pittsburgh. This was Chubb’s second procedure on the knee since he got hurt when he was hit low on a running play on Sept. 18. The Browns had hoped his injury wasn’t as severe, but during an initial surgery it was discovered he had torn his ACL. They believe the second surgery was a success. The Browns expect the 27-year-old Chubb will be back at some point in the 2024 season. He worked his way back from an injury to the same knee while at Georgia.

Freshman guard Mikaylah Williams scored 42 points and No. 7 LSU rolled to a 109-79 rout over Kent State. It was the most points ever scored by an LSU freshman and the most by a Tigers player since Cornelia Gayden scored 43 vs. TCU in 1996. Junior transfer Aneesah Morrow added 17 points, eight rebounds and nine steals for LSU, which scored 70 points in the second half.

David Braun appears to be the biggest winner among the Big Ten’s first-year coaches.Northwestern is in a position few would have envisioned when he was elevated to interim coach in the wake of a hazing and abuse scandal that cost Pat Fitzgerald his job. Northwestern is one of four Big Ten schools that began the season with new head coaches. Braun didn’t come with the cache of Wisconsin’s Luke Fickell or Nebraska’s Matt Rhule or even Purdue’s Ryan Walters. The Wildcats are one win away from bowl game eligibility.

De’Aaron Fox had 28 points and six assists in his return after missing two weeks with an ankle injury, and the Sacramento Kings gave coach Mike Brown his 400th career victory with a 132-120 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Domantas Sabonis added 23 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds for the Kings, who swept the Cavs a season ago. Keegan Murray had a season-high 25 points with five 3-pointers. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 22 points despite going scoreless in the first quarter. Caris LeVert had 21 points and Max Strus scored 19.

Zach Edey finished with 28 points and 11 rebounds while Braden Smith added 12 points and seven assists Monday to give No. 2 Purdue an 83-71 victory over Xavier. The Boilermakers extended their school record for consecutive regular-season wins against non-conference foes to 27 by beating Xavier for the first time since December 2001. The Musketeers were led by Desmond Claude with 15 points. But, like most teams, they struggled against Edey, the 7-foot-4 center and reigning national player of the year. Purdue led the entire second half, finally putting it away with an 11-5 run that made it 71-57 with 6:28 to go.

The Cleveland Browns keep pushing. Despite some key injuries, including a shoulder issue that kept quarterback Deshaun Watson out for all but 12 plays in four October games, the Browns are in the thick of the AFC North race. On Sunday, they overcame playing without their starting tackles, Watson's first pass being returned for a touchdown and a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter to stun the first-place Baltimore Ravens 33-31. The Browns have been displaying resiliency all season, and much of the credit goes to coach Kevin Stefanski, who has kept his team focused amid significant adversity.

There’s nothing unusual about the Cincinnati Bengals being 5-4 at this point of the season, but they may look back on their early struggles and Sunday’s loss to visiting Houston as too much to overcome this year. Cincinnati was 5-4 each of the past two years and rallied each time to win the AFC North and reach the conference title game. This year, the AFC North may be tougher than ever. The Bengals are in last place, and their remaining schedule includes rematches with Baltimore and Cleveland and two games against Pittsburgh.

Jim Harbaugh stood behind a lectern and delivered prepared remarks Monday to kick off a week in which he will either lose another opportunity to coach No. 2 Michigan or win a hearing to at least temporarily lift the Big Ten’s penalty against him for a sign-stealing scheme. Harbaugh shared his take on various topics but said he would save his opinions on the conference’s punishment for his day in court, which comes Friday. Sherrone Moore will fill in for Harbaugh if he's still suspended for Saturday's game at Maryland.

DeMarlo Hale was hired by the Toronto Blue Jays as associate manager under John Schneider after three seasons as Terry Francona’s bench coach in Cleveland. The 62-year-old Chicago native was Toronto’s bench coach from 2013-18, became an Atlanta minor league coach and special assistant in 2019, then was interim first base coach in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season when Eric Young decided not to travel. Hale served as Cleveland’s acting manager from July 29, 2021, through the end of the season while Francona was sidelined by health issues. The team went 30-33 with Hale in charge.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson will have an MRI on his left ankle after hurting it in Sunday's last-second win at Baltimore. Watson twice rolled his ankle in the first half but stayed in the game and went 14 of 14 for 134 yards after halftime as the Browns rallied in the fourth quarter for a 33-31 win. Watson left M&T Bank Stadium in a walking boot. He said after the game he will be ready this week when the Browns host the Steelers. After twisting his ankle the second time, Watson left the field early to get treatment. Backup P.J. Walker threw a long pass on the final play before halftime.

There are more perfect 10s at the top of the AP college football poll than there have been 14 years. The top-five teams in the rankings are all 10-0. The last time there were at least five teams at 10-0 or better atop the rankings was 2009, when there were six. As the best teams in the country roll along in a season that has lacked big upsets, the top-five has been unchanged for five weeks: No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Florida State, No. 5 Washington.

Walkoff field goals. Comebacks. Close games. Sunday was filled with competitive action across the NFL. Just the way the league wants it. Five games ended on game-winning field goals in regulation, the most in one day in NFL history. Two teams overcame deficits on their final drive. Eight games were decided by four points or less. It wasn’t all fun and excitement. There also was an abundance of penalty flags, poor tackling, sloppy mistakes and terrible quarterback play in a few of the games.

Alexis Lafreniere’s second goal of the game tied it with 11 seconds left in regulation, and then he had the only scored in the shootout as the New York Rangers beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3. Chris Kreider had a goal and an assist for the Metropolitan Division-leading Rangers, who are 9-0-1 in their last 10 games. Artemi Panarin had two assists to extend his season-opening point streak to 14 games. Jonathan Quick made 26 saves. Justin Danforth, Adam Fantilli and Sean Kuraly scored for Columbus, with lost its fifth straight (0-3-2). Erik Gudbranson had two assists and Elvis Merzlikins finished with 37 saves. In the tiebreaker, Lafreniere backhanded the puck past Merzlikins in the third round, and Quick denied Alexandre Texier to secure the win.

Columbus scored three goals in the first 33 minutes and the Crew advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 4-2 victory over Atlanta United in the rubber match of a first-round MLS Cup series. Columbus (17-9-9) upped its unbeaten streak at home in all competitions to 17, but the third-seeded Crew will hit the road for a semifinal matchup with No. 2 seed Orlando City on Nov. 25. Top-seeded FC Cincinnati will host the fourth-seeded Philadelphia Union in the other semifinal, also on Nov. 25. The Crew hit the ground running against Atlanta United, grabbing the lead in the 9th minute on an unassisted goal by Darlington Nagbe. It was Nagbe’s third career postseason goal and his second with the Crew.

The Bengals produced a touchdown on their opening drive and forced three turnovers. That was the formula that helped Cincinnati to four straight wins. But it wasn't enough against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The Bengals lost 30-27 to fall to 5-4, last in the AFC North. Cincinnati plays Thursday night at division-leading Baltimore. The Bengals have started 5-4 each of the past three seasons, and in the previous two, they rallied to win the division and reach the AFC Championship game.

C.J. Stroud directed a last-minute, game-winning drive for the second straight week, finishing with 356 yards passing and leading the Houston Texans to a 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Noah Brown had 172 yards receiving for the Texans and Devin Singletary ran for 150 yards and a score. Joe Burrow threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns for the Bengals but was intercepted twice in the fourth quarter.

Dustin Hopkins kicked a 40-yard field goal as time expired to cap a furious Cleveland rally in the fourth quarter, and the Browns edged the Baltimore Ravens 33-31. Cleveland trailed 31-17 before Deshaun Watson delivered the type of victory the Browns have been waiting for from their high-priced quarterback. Watson threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Moore with 8:57 remaining. Then one of Lamar Jackson’s passes caromed high into the air and was picked off by Greg Newsome II, and he returned the interception 34 yards for a TD just 41 seconds later. Still down one because of a missed extra point, Cleveland drove 58 yards for the winning kick.

Cotie McMahon scored a team-high 22 points and six Buckeyes reached double figures as No. 7 Ohio State beat IUPUI 108-58. Ohio State forced 28 turnovers, including 20 in the first half, and took a 59-31 halftime lead. Viktor Lakhin scored a career-high 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Cincinnati to an 85-73 win over Eastern Washington. The 6-foot-11 junior from Russia was 9-of-12 shooting with two 3-pointers with 18 points coming in the second half. Eastern Washington cut the deficit to 70-62 with five minutes left but Day Day Thomas answered with a layup, Lakhin followed with a 3 and the lead remained in double figures the rest of the way. Jizzle James scored 13 points, Thomas and Simas Lukosius both added 11 and Johnny Newman III had 10 for the Bearcats. Cedric Coward scored 21 for the Eagles.

Stephen Curry scored 30 points to lead the Warriors, who lost Green at the 6:23 mark of the third quarter with eight points, five rebounds and four assists. Curry has four or more 3s in his first 10 games, the first time that's happened in NBA history.

Marvin Harrison Jr. caught two of Kyle McCord’s three touchdown passes and rushed for another score, helping No. 3 Ohio State pound Michigan State 38-3. McCord threw for a career-high 335 yards for the 10-0 Buckeyes, who overwhelmed the Spartans with touchdowns on five of their six first-half possessions. Ohio State’s defense, missing several key players due to injuries, held Michigan State to 182 total yards and two third-down conversions on 14 attempts. McCord completed 24 of 31 passes before being relieved in the fourth quarter. Harrison finished with seven receptions for 149 yards.

This injury came after he sat out the last eight games of his rookie season with a hamstring injury. Also Saturday, the Texans placed kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn on the injured reserve with a quadriceps injury.

Even NBA star LeBron James is relishing the chance to tease Michigan over its college football sign-stealing scandal. The 19-time All-Star took a light-hearted swipe at the Wolverines and coach Jim Harbaugh in the aftermath of the Los Angeles Lakers' win Friday night over the Phoenix Suns, who are coached by former Lakers coach Frank Vogel. Said James: “The best thing about tonight is we were able to get those signals and we’ll still be able to play on Sunday. We won’t get suspended, like that team up north.” James grew up in Ohio, home to Michigan’s biggest rival: Ohio State. The Big Ten Conference banned Harbaugh from coaching at Michigan’s three remaining regular-season games on Friday, escalating an extraordinary confrontation with college football’s winningest program.

Although he has no managing experience, the Guardians believe Vogt's engaging personality, ability to connect with people and varied baseball background make him a perfect choice.
